    Getting the olympics is soooo coooooool (I might even move back!) but beating the French at the end is sooooooooooooooo cooooooooooooooooooooooool. :p

    There seems to be three schools of thought on this at work at the moment. The first is perhaps the most obvious - the people going around smiling pleasantly saying “we won, how great is that”. The second is the opposite to that - the whingers who think it’s not such a good thing for (insert stupid reason here). Thankfully these are few and far between. The last is a little surprising though. It’s the “it’s feels great because we’ve stuck it to the frenchies” school of thought. Not very PC in this day and age but strangly funny at the same.

    Not very pc at all, but you’re right and we beat them in Trafalgar Sq of all places! From the land of terrible food, lousy transport and the home of BSE. WE DID IT!!!!!!
