Was the growing influx of Tea Shops?

Ive just about got my head around the fact that there is no less that 7 Coffee shops on one block of Portobello Road (bonus points if you tell me which) when all of a sudden I noticed we have Tea Palaces… AND they are TRENDY tea shops, ho hummmm.
I can’t really see the gap in the market to be honest, or the point, I’m pretty sure Starbucks and Nero and all the other overpriced under staffed hot sticky smelly coffee shops sell Tea too….
