Peregrine Falcon – but is it art?

peregrine_falcon_tate_modern2007.jpg
I wrote a really exciting entry about the peregrine falcon currently roosting on the tate modern’s chimney but then I accidentally deleted it with my entry about the ship pub. In essence – as will now be apparent – there is a peregrine falcon (the world’s fastest bird and indeed creature as far as I know) on the tate modern chimney. Yesterday there was a big crowd of twitching, ornithological types outside with powerful binoculars which you can take a look through. Be warned though – one of them tried to tell me about every caravaning holiday he has planned for the coming year. He had got as far as March 2007 when I managed to slip quietly away.
