Clear skies

On train this morning, for a fraction of second it did strike me that my commuter train which is normally full of young tourists with their backpacks and families with excited kids were missing. Little did I know the seriousness of the situation.

Being half asleep took no notice of the lack of chattering Europeans at that point in time. Got to work eventually and found out that the nation was on Critical threat level – the highest – according to BBC “an attack is expected imminently and indicates an extremely high level of threat to the UK”. Scary stuff

Looking out through the windows right now from my desk I see totally clear sky, can’t remember the last time I ever saw sky remain clear for so long without an aircraft in sight. Hope things get back to normal soon.

Good luck over there across the pond. Stay safe in the midst of all those Islamic terrorists. Try not to be in denial like most of the liberals over here in the US.

This has nothing to do with Islam — please refrain from slandering religions even if you are an atheist.

Ben…wow. What a statement. Why are you pointing out that they are Islamic terrorists? Wouldn’t the un politicizing of the event mean they are just freaking terrorists? Regardless of what justification they may use? Therefore doesn’t what you are saying defame the entire religion?

I guess i’m in “Ben’s denial” in Toronto.

My colleague pointed came out with the interesting fact that apparently there is no longer enough room at the worlds airports for every aeroplane to be grounded at the same time – effectively the planet is juggling with aircraft.

“effectively the planet is juggling with aircraft.”

That evokes some spectacular/beautiful imagery Tomas! I think I might steal that…
