Milk Taster

I am going to Venezuela on Sunday morning all being well. I am probably more likely to be blown up by the CIA on the Paris-Caracas route.

Apparently people can take milk for their babies on board planes at Heathrow but it has to be tasted by a security official – how the hell do you get a job like that? I want in.

I think it has to be tasted by the parent. At least on our side of the pond, that’s what’s required. Tasted by the guard doesn’t make much sense.

Yup its the parent who has to taste it before they are allowed to take it onboard on this side of the pond too

There is no ‘Think …’ the parent has to taste it, but there is doubt this makes any difference.

You are all right, of course. Yeah I think there is definitely an advertising idea in there – Maybe a guard pretends to be suspicious “I’m afraid I’m going to have to taste that milk madam”

Am I alone in NOT finding the appeal in that?
