12 year old Boards Plane….

Aparently a 12 year old child on the run fron a Social Services Care home managed to board a Lisbon bound Plane at Gatwick today.

HUH? how on Earth did that manage to happen? At the moment you can even take on board your hand cream or book to read - yet there are stowaways?

Not only did the kid get through Security, he got on the plane…. I can imagine if that had been a budget airline flight such as Ryan air or Easyjet, no one would be any the wiser. Monarch - the airline involved have seated tickets, which is probably how they noticed…

I used to think it was quite funny when I passed through the airport that they never really seemed to look at my ticket or passport properly. In fact one or two times I swapped passports with my friend to see if they noticed. They never did. If this is what can happen during in heightened Security at our Airports, I wonder what is happening when no one is watching??

Thats extremely suprising. That too at a state of heightened alert !

Out here in pakistan, even normal, you cant get into the terminal without getting your tickets checked, and passports too when travelling international.

Quite honestly, even local travel is torturing with the million and a half ticket and boarding pass checks and stamps.
