Korean Lunch at The Polo

010806.jpgSL took me here for Korean lunch. Hailing from Korea, I figure she’s the expert. On St. Giles High Street (at the back of Centre Point), you can get a filling and (according to SL) a very authentic Korean lunch for 5 squid. Speaking of squid, I like the squid dish and the veggie option. Your choice of about 5 dishes.

The other two on that road are pretty good too. The one ‘Koojung?’ is always packed every night, mostly with Korens, Japanese & Chinese students. A good sign. Of course for Real Korean food head to South Malden where the UK’s Korean community is concentrated. Otherwise check out New Seoul at 164 Clerkenwell Road.

Wish I had known about this a month ago. Oh well…maybe next time I am in London.
