Fair fares?
What a rude awakening coming back to work was last week. My train fare went up more than 30%. Two weeks ago we were both racign around Shanghai where taxis cost just 80p for the first 3kms. If only transport was that cheap here. Now that would be nice.
What the hell is going on? Each year its the rise in fares that greets us all as we go back to work? Has anyone really noticed a marked improvment in line with huges hikes in the income the new fares have give the train companies?
Time to get back on the bike.
Oh how nice it would be if the rise in fairs meant the service got better, but in reality it means the shareholders get more cash.
Long gone are the days of any improvements, it’s all about shareholder satisfaction and paying for + £1 million wages :(
I said a year ago I was boycotting red kens bankruptcy mobiles, and this year I will say it and mean it.
foot or bike travel is the only way to go without needing a mortgage.
The other night, I saw a guy pay for his bus fare in Poker chips; it was a complete set of poker chips with the caddy. The driver took them with only a moment’s pause. I guess it would have cost £30 to buy the chips new.
Is the way forward. try to barter your fare? Oh, the possiblities. The fun we could have.
Mate i’ve been reading your nonsense for a while now and im begining to think that your the type of person who talks talks talks but never listens. In fact i have a feeling that the only time you listen is when its in your own interest.
I bet your the type of person who of an evening will sit around your house reading whatever newspaper you read just so as you have something to talk about instead of actually going out and having a life and a opinion of your own.
I only say this because most of the dribble that you have posted, and lets be honest here, it is all dribble has obviously been plagerized from the tabloids of the day. Do us all a favour and go away, have a holiday and come back with something worth reading.
