i agree with you absolutely. you’re spot on that most people do seem to get a kick out of everyone hearing their conversations. it’s like a replay of high-school or even earlier - when the girls would stand in the most prominent spot and say ” He said this to me, or that to me” and the admiring crowd around would be expeced to go “ooh..”
Except now its everywhere. And yeah - why is it nowadays its almost impossible to set mobile phones to a ‘normal ring’? thank goodness cellphones dont work on the Tube..
