LL Cool P (Lahore loves cool Potter)

Bloggers at our sister site in Lahore, Pakistan did a much better job wrapping up British Potter-mania than we did, quoting the BBC, the Telegraph, the Sun, and the Guardian — check out their post here.

Could Harry Potter be not only the saviour of children’s literacy and publishing, but also the bridge of peace between all the peoples of the world? Oh yes.

Tell that to the small book shops undercut by supermarkets selling HP at huge losses much as they do beer. As for saving publishing? Hmmm, I wouldn’t want to be shareholder in the HP publishers as after HP finishes what next?

    World Peace?

Will the craze end with the last book published and the movie series also nearing completion within a year or two??

Answer, in my opinion, is no!

Harry Potter is going to inspire the next generations of kids who will grow up with Potter through each book in the series…
